PentGen
AI-powered penetration testing
PentGen pairs a fast static scanner with an autonomous AI agent that tests your applications the way a real attacker would — so you find and fix vulnerabilities before someone else does.
The problem it solves
Traditional penetration tests are expensive, happen once or twice a year, and are outdated the moment the next deploy ships. Meanwhile, misconfigured headers, exposed endpoints and outdated components pile up quietly. PentGen makes security testing continuous and affordable, turning raw findings into a clear, prioritized plan of action.
What it does
Instant static scan
15 scan modules analyze your attack surface in minutes: HTTP security headers, SSL/TLS, DNS and email security (SPF, DMARC, DKIM), cookies, CORS, open ports and more.
Autonomous AI agent
An AI agent plans and runs dynamic, context-aware penetration tests, adapting each next step to what it discovers — just like a human pentester.
OWASP Top 10 coverage
Checks mapped to the OWASP Top 10, including injection probes (XSS, SQL injection, path traversal), SSRF, open redirects and broken access control.
Known-vulnerability lookup
Fingerprints servers, frameworks and CMSs such as WordPress, Joomla and Drupal, then cross-checks the detected versions against the NVD CVE database.
Exposure discovery
Finds what should never be public: .git and .env files, admin panels, Swagger and actuator endpoints, directory listings and leaked secrets.
Actionable reports
Every finding comes with a severity, an explanation and clear remediation steps, so your team knows exactly what to fix first.
Who it's for
- Security teams that want continuous testing between formal audits
- Development teams shipping web applications and APIs
- Small and mid-sized companies without a dedicated red team
- Consultancies that assess many client environments
Frequently asked questions
What is PentGen?
PentGen, available at novapentest.com, is an AI-powered penetration testing platform for modern security teams. It combines around sixty automated checks, including active injection probes, with an LLM-driven agent that explores your web application or API the way an attacker would.
Can I try it for free without an account?
Yes. The free passive scan at novapentest.com/scan needs no account and returns an A to F grade. It runs ten observation-only checks — headers, TLS, cookies and DNS email security — and sends no injection payloads.
Does it replace a manual penetration test?
No. Automated testing catches issues release after release, while a human team is better at business-logic flaws, chained attacks and complex workflows. Most teams combine continuous automated testing with a manual test once or twice a year.
Is it safe to point the scanner at my site?
Every target is checked before a scan, and addresses that resolve to loopback, private, link-local, reserved or cloud-metadata space are refused — on every connection. The AI agent, on paid plans, only requests paths on the target you registered, within a capped number of requests per scan.
